Beading Express Classes Mission: Beading Express
We’ve designed these Beading Express projects to help you learn the fundamentals of beading and jewelry making by teaching basic techniques. These projects are not considered regular classes; therefore you may not be able to redeem a frequent class card towards them. Each project is timely and an excellent value.
Do you have beads at home? Then feel free to bring them to use in these projects; however our beads, string and findings are 10% off on the day of the class. We will also have kits available in different colors. If you want to choose your own beads, please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance. Beginners are welcome! Please bring your patience, glasses and positive energy to accomplish your beading mission!
All classes are $15 and 1 ½ hours long.
You will be stamping letters onto a pre-made metal blank. You’ll learn how to attach a clasp to a chain, and how to wire-wrap a birthstone to your necklace.

Use this alternative technique to create a non-traditional piece of jewelry. In this class you will learn about the sizes of silk, french wire, clamshells, beadtips, and beading tweezers. You’ll also learn the “Tin Cup” or Floating Pearl knotting technique. In class you will design and construct a beautiful knotted bracelet!

Beading Boot Camp: Advanced Basic Training is the next step in honing your beading skills. Once you've completed your Basic Training, you are ready for the next step on your beading journey. You will learn all the techniques in the Knotting and More Fun With Wire classes. You will learn how to knot between beads with tweezers, and also the "Floating Pearl" knotting technique. You will leave with a knotted beaded bracelet. You will also learn the basic wrapped coil or "bailing" technique with wire to complete a pair of wire wrapped earrings. If you've had a taste but want to learn more, this is the perfect workshop to continue on your beading adventure. *Pre-requisite: You must have completed Beading Boot Camp: Basic Training or Let's Make a Necklace and Easy Earrings for Beginners classes. (or have knowledge and experience in these beginning techniques.)
Ages 12 and up are welcome.

Beading Boot Camp: Basic Training is an intensive jump start for your beading skills. If you've always wanted to make a necklace or pair of earrings, this is the workshop to get you started! You will learn all the techniques in the Let's Make a Necklace and Easy Earrings classes. You will learn about different stringing materials, wire gauges, and all sorts of findings to prepare you for your beading adventure. At the end of the workshop, you can proudly display a pair of earrings and a beaded necklace (see photos below)!

In this class you will learn how to set up your wooden loom to make small projects. You can create your own pattern or use the ones provided in class. Several ways to finish your loomed bracelet will be shown. This technique can be used to make fabulous patterns. You may not finish the project in class, but Ana will show you how to do it!
