METALSMITHING BOOTCAMP CLASS

This class will cover the basics of metalsmithing. You will learn how to cut metal, stamp letters, texture, dome metal, and rivet. We will also cover different ways to oxidize metal to help bring out all the details you have just made on your piece, and also incorporate beads and wire. You will have the artistic freedom to make either a necklace or bracelet. This class is for ages 16 and up. Pre-requisite: Easy Earrings for Beginners

NEW!! METAL ETCHING TECHNIQUES CLASS

In this class you will learn how to add patterns to copper or brass pieces. We will be working with copper and make them a permanent part of your design. We will be using Ferric Chloride as the etchant. This class is useful if you have taken the Metalsmithing Bootcamp, but if you would like to take this first, you may want to take the Metalsmithing Bootcamp later so that you can make a finished product out of your etched pieces. Beginners welcome!
