In this class you will learn how to add patterns to copper or brass pieces. We will be working with copper and make them a permanent part of your design. We will be using Ferric Chloride as the etchant. This class is useful if you have taken the Metalsmithing Bootcamp, but if you would like to take this first, you may want to take the Metalsmithing Bootcamp later so that you can make a finished product out of your etched pieces. In this workshop we will cover the basics for Even Count Peyote stitch. You will learn how to follow a pattern and you will start on a bracelet. By using graph paper you can make your own pattern or you can follow a provided pattern.
